A to Z Media provides a full suite of services for comprehensive music, film and multimedia production and is looking for a Marketing and Content Assistant to support our marketing efforts. 

Founded in 1994, A to Z Media has devoted the better part of 30 years to transforming good ideas into magical physical media creations, including Vinyl Record Pressing, CD/DVD Replication and Deluxe Printing, Book Publishing, and Packaging of endless varieties.

This role will work closely with our Marketing Lead to help ideate, create, and execute campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels. Based in our Portland office, this person will be hands-on with content creation, including documenting the projects we work on (physical media, merch, books, etc.), behind-the-scenes processes, and turning them into engaging, on-brand content. 

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media, visual storytelling, the basics of digital marketing, and is excited to support a growing, fast-moving marketing department in the music and physical media space on a flexible, part-time basis (2 days per week, onsite, to start).

Qualifications and Skills

Strong command of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
  • Short-form video ideation, filming, and editing
  • Visual eye for physical products (vinyl, packaging, merch, print)
  • In-office content capture and behind-the-scenes storytelling (Portland-based)
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred; Adobe, or similar tools)
  • Email marketing support, including formatting and scheduling newsletters (Brevo, Mailchimp)
  • Working knowledge of Meta and Google Ads, including basic tracking and reporting
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team

Education and Experience

In the 3rd or 4th year of a college graduate program or beyond
  • Prior industry experience is preferred
On-site, $17.00 per hour, 16 hours per week.
